For every individual living with HIV, there is also a family member impacted by the disease.
FCAN, the Families’ and Children’s AIDS Network, is a leader in developing family-focused programs and policies that are responsive to the unique needs of parents and children affected by HIV and AIDS in the state of Illinois. We welcome all families from across the state to participate in our organization.
At FCAN, we support HIV-affected families by offering free, in-home clinical and legal services in the Cook County area and semi-annual retreats for families across the state. In addition, FCAN has been instrumental in developing public policies and programs through its statewide education and advocacy efforts. With the help of the individuals that we serve and our network of providers and volunteers, FCAN is strengthening HIV-affected families statewide.
